There is nothing better that a great walk in Wimbledon Commons. It’s my stomping ground and I have to admit it’s a great place to run free and meet up with my furry mates. So when we were out this weekend we found this great flyer talking about a Woof & Wellies Wimbledon dog walk.

It’s a family event that looks like a lot of fun! Just imagine a whole bunch of happy dogs going for a walk with their peeps with a whole bunch of other happy dogs and their peeps all for a good cause. It sounds like doggy bliss to me.

woofand wellies dog walk mapThis year they have the walk set as a figure 8 with two sections. The first route is approximately 4 km with a break for refreshments at the start and finish point, then you can do the second part of the walk which is approximately 6 km.

Everyone will participate in the first walk and only those who would like to can walk the second leg. And remember this is for fun and it’s not a race, so if your a sniffing dog like me, you don’t have to worry about catching up with those long legged dogs.

Everyone is welcome, big dogs, little dogs, crazy dogs, (you know who you are), and they can bring as many peeps of any age with them too!
